Nipissing Events and Rides

·      

  'Ken Messenger Memorial Ride Around the Pond'.  The Section take great pride in its annual springtime ride around Lake Nipissing in honour of one of its charter members.  For 2011 the date is Saturday May 28th.

·         'History Tour' rides.  Completing these selected tours to sites of historical interest earn you credits that can be redeemed for special commemorative regalia.

·         See the other scheduled section rides as well as selected rides from sister sections.

·         Impromptu non-scheduled rides leaving on Saturday morning between 10am and noon from North Bay Cycle or Tim Hortons on Trout Lake Road 

·         Flash Rides.  Email recipients receive spur of the moment notice >  ' hey, let's meet and let's ride '


History Tours explained:  For CVMG members in good standing.  Contact us or download a membership form.

Tour rider must ride a vintage ride.  Tour must be minimum 50km. Tour must incorporate a destination of historical interest. Ride can be done individually or part of a group.  Completed rides are cumulative for earning credits to redeem for successive commemorative regalia levels. 

1.        Level 1. Blue Pin for completion of 3 Tours

2.        Level 2. Red Pin for completion of 10 Tours

3.        Level 3. Green Pin for completion of 25 Tours
