Dave and Judy Laver invited us to their BBQ and Vintage bike show on July 8th.

I decided that I would make the ride there more interesting. Having discussed my plan with Jason, he was enticed into also going there with a slight detour.

We rode north using country lanes with a brief highway stint to get around Barrie. The ride on the 13 / Southwood Road from just north of Washago to Bala was simply exilerating.

A short stop for ice cream / milk shake at Bala. We took the 38 from Bala to the Hwy 400. We had to make up time as we were already late.

Total distance to Dave and Judy's home was in around 350km. 

The BBQ was truly amazing and I'm sure there'll be a write up about that in the next magazine.
