WHAT UTILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR CAMPERS?

We do not offer any utility hook-ups for campers. This includes electricity, water, sewage, cooking, etc. Those found
hooked to utilities without permission/permit, may be removed in accordance to the Code of Conduct.

If arrangements need to be made for medical reasons, please email nationalrally@cvmg.ca.

Washrooms(indoor and portable units) are located throughout the grounds. See the Rally Schedule & Map for locations

Looks like the Day Pass is cheaper.  Why not just get that?

Day-visitors are restricted to certain daytime hours and is for pedestrian traffic only. Gates are open for day visitors Friday at noon and Saturday at 9am, and we ask for them to vacate by 5pm both days. Anyone looking to stay or vend must be registered for this event.

Do I have to pay for my kids?

If you're registering for the Rally, your children under 16 get in free.  Children must be registered and will be required to wear the numbered wristband.
If you're a day visitor, children 16 and under are still free to enter.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

how do i get into the rally site early to setup?

If you have pre-registered(available online Jan 1st to May 31st), you can enter the site from 9AM Friday after you have obtained your wristband.  Otherwise, entry to the Rally site starts Friday noon, once registration opens in the Main Hall. There is no earlier access than these times.

Is this rally child-friendly?

Yes, this is a family event – Code of Conduct will be enforced. Misconduct will not be tolerated.

can i bring my dog?

The Fairground is privately owned and contribute to the Code of Conduct, including rules for pets. The following applies to all pets including, but not limited to dogs, cats, reptiles, etc. All pets must:

  • remain on leash or restrained and controlled
  • not be excessively loud or causing constant noise
  • be cleaned up after(this applies to all areas of the grounds)
  • not enter the Main Hall
  • remain at owner's campsite while event is open to the general public(Friday noon-5pm & Saturday 9am-5pm)

We do not assume any responsibility for the wellbeing of your pets at this event. Please come prepared to take care of them within the guidelines above. We are happy to accept all Service animals with proper documentation.

WHAT ARE THE RULES?

Every Rally participant, including volunteers, committee members, campers and visitors deserves to be treated with respect.  No one should ever be subjected to verbal or physical abuse. Racism, prejudice, rude or drunken behavior will not be tolerated. The Rally Committee, in its sole discretion, will deal with such incidents as necessary to provide a safe and pleasant environment for all. Please see the Code of Conduct page for full Rules for attendees.

CAN I BRING MY BIKE AND PUT A FOR-SALE SIGN ON IT?

Yes, if you are registered as a Rally participant.
Day-pass attendees do not have vehicle access to the grounds. 

WHAT HAPPENS ON FRIDAY?

The rally starts at noon Friday and runs until Sunday noon.  There's plenty to do, see the Rally Map & Schedule.

IS THE SWAP MEET GOING ON AT THE SAME TIME AS THE RALLY?

Yes, the Swap Meet/Flea Market area is open throughout the rally weekend for vendors to operate at their own pace and hours. Most availability is Friday afternoon and Saturday.

WHAT DAY IS BEST TO COME FOR THE SWAP MEET?

During the day-visitor hours; Friday noon -5pm and Saturday 9am -5pm.

HOW DO MY BOOTH HELPERS/EMPLOYEES GET INTO THE RALLY?

Everyone staying on-site must be registered for the Rally. If your helpers are staying off site then they can come in for the day by paying the day visitor gate fee each day when the gate opens and must leave the site that evening (note: Day Gate opens at noon on Friday, 9AM Saturday).

CAN i GET A VEGETARIAN MEAL AT THE SATURDAY NIGHT DINNER?

Yes, we can accommodate vegetarian meals, though we must be informed ahead of time, preferably during registration in the "Dietary Restrictions" below meal tickets. If you forgot or we are not informed with enough notice, we cannot guarantee there will be enough vegetarian plates. Please email late requests to nationalrally@cvmg.ca

if i pre-register and cannot come to the rally, can I get my money back?

Rally registration is non-refundable. Meal tickets are non-refundable as well but you can request for these to be given to someone else. Rally t-shirts are set aside and arrangements can be made for pick up or mailing. Please email nationalrally@cvmg.ca to make arrangements.

Food sales are restricted to the pre-approved food vendors on site.  For further information on becoming a food vendor, please contact nationalrally@cvmg.ca
