This is a basket case.  It is mostly complete but if the purchaser wishes to restore it to its original form, it will need exhaust pipes, battery box, new fenders, head and tailight, and the stand that goes under the rear wheel.  A new clutch assembly would be a good idea.  This machine belonged to my late brother who had the engine renewed in 1967.  At that time, Art Davidson Sport and Cycle on the Hamilton Mountain installed new pistons, rings, cylinders, valves, connecting rods, and crankshaft.  My brother passed away in early 1968, and other than me dumping oil into the cylinders and rotating the engine a couple of times a year, nothing more was done to it. I bought a disassembled transmission a few years ago with the intention of building up the bike, but too many other things got in the way and I didn't get a chance to work on it.  It has been mostly chrome plated including the frame, tank, and springer front end.  Of course, it will need new tires and tubes, and a battery.   I'm looking for $8,000 or best offer.
